Julia Ringwood is the founder of Ringwood Fundraising Consultants (RFC), which has been growing since 2002. Prior careers as a court reporter and insurance agent managing an insurance agency, have honed her skills in providing businesslike, and professional service.
A native to California Julie began her fundraising career in 1995 volunteering for AIDS LA and attending classes at UCLA, where she ultimately earned her Certificate in Fundraising.
She began working for Community Counseling Service as a Development Director. Over the course of five years, Julie worked in the same capacity at Hathaway Children and Family Services, Junior Achievement, and Ride On LA, Therapeutic Horsemanship.
Through her employment at each organization, she met or surpassed her fundraising goal. For the past 7 years, self employed as a grant writer/fundraiser under RFC, Julie and her staff have raised between $1.5 and $3 million each year.
